Unfortunately, This Wasn't Taken In Chicago

The temperature got as "high" as 1 degree today. That's not a typo. One gotdam degree. With the winds blowing, the National Weather Service website said it felt like the -20's. I didn't leave my hotel room today because of the bitter cold except for walking to lunch at Hooter's next door and that was enough. I have a lot of respect for those poor girls in their skimpy outfits. A lot of appreciation too.
Anyways, it was just a lazy day holed up in the hotel room watching a couple of hockey games online. Tomorrow I head back home, which means, once again I have to negotiate the maze that is O'Hare Airport.

Ok, ok...

What's THIS?????

The view from your hotel window???

Should we start getting that bail money ready?

Looks like you're having a good time.

You ARE coming back, aren't you???

I wish that was the view. In reality, the view was obscured because of frost on the window. As funny as it is to type this, I can't wait to get back to the tropical climate of Harrisburg. Now if this had been summertime, I might be looking for a job and a place to live out here. I like it here.

Of course you have respect for women in skimpy clothes!! You should respect all women. Bet you wouldn't call them chicks, skirts or broads. I'm sooo glad you got to take this trip to watch Corwin graduate. I know how much it meant to you.
You're posts are great. WELCOME HOME!!!

Wow, I'm glad you went to a traditional Chicago style restaurant like Hooters! It's not like there is a Hooters restaurant just anywhere. It's not like Hooters isn't one just a few miles down the road from where we work. Oh wait...

All in all it sounds like a good trip. Other than the butt @$$ cold weather. Not that it isn't cold here now, but not that cold. Hope the trip back to Baltimore then north to home was good.

See you at work (sorry).
